Local Pickleball Athletes Bring Home 20 Medals from the True North Pickleball

Tour Championships in Kingston, Ontario

Date of Event: Friday, September 19 – Sunday, September 22, 2024
Location: Kingston, Ontario

Peterborough Pickleball athletes brought home 20 medals over the weekend at the True
North Pickleball Tour Championships held in Kingston this past weekend (September 19 –
22, 2024). The two hundred and forty-two pickleball athletes competing in this tournament
had previously qualified by winning a medal in one of the True North Pickleball Tour
Championship Tournaments held over the past season.

Men’s Open Division:
 Silver Medal Winners – Marc Rochon and Jonathan McConnell (Perth)
 Bronze Medal Winners – Cole Lester and Roy Wales
Women’s Open Division:
 Silver Medal Winners – Alex Manley and Emma Grant-Bergeron

 Gold Medal Winners – Alan Sargeant and George Eadie (Toronto)
