Subject: Peterborough’s Youngest Pickleball Athletes Excel at Tournament
Date of Event: Thursday, March 6 – Sunday, March 9, 2025
Location: Hisports Pickleball Club, Oshawa, Ontario
Some of Peterborough’s youngest pickleball players brought home the hardware from the Hisports Tour Stop #1 (Durham) Pickleball Championships held in Oshawa this past weekend.
Twenty-year-old Cole Lester and brothers Noah and Calvin Hoefel won gold medals in their divisions while siblings Landon Allen (17 years) and Keaton Allen (14 years), in their first tournament ever, captured silver medals in the Junior Boys Doubles.
Part of the Hisport Pickleball Tour circuit, this was the first of three major qualifying events for the 2025 Hisport Pickleball Tour Championships. All medalists from a major tournament qualify for the final championship in 2025!
